About

Our Philosophy

Voltage was born from our passion for the world of renovation, design, and technology. This young company grew out of a series of innovative reflections and ideas. Our goal is to put our expertise at the service of your renovation projects — whether residential or commercial.

With years of hands-on experience in the field and diverse training, we have developed a versatile skill set that blends technical precision, aesthetic sensibility, and efficiency. Our approach is rooted in attentive listening, meticulous execution, and respect for existing spaces — with the aim of bringing them back to life while meeting today’s needs.

We work in close collaboration with architects, contractors, and private clients to deliver tailor-made, sustainable, and high-quality solutions.

“Every project is a new opportunity to create, improve, and elevate.”

Our Values

Technique

It plays a central role in delivering efficient, sustainable services tailored to the specific needs of each project. Whether modernising a facility, improving energy performance, or reimagining living spaces, every project depends on precise technical expertise and the use of innovative solutions. Through well-established working methods and the careful selection of advanced materials, today’s renovations can successfully combine respect for the existing structure with modern comfort and environmental responsibility.

Design

It enables us to rethink spaces, making them more functional, aesthetically pleasing, and suited to modern lifestyles. Whether the goal is to modernise an interior, highlight the original architectural features, or create a unique atmosphere, design informs every choice of materials, colours, proportions, and lighting. In renovation, it’s not only about rebuilding — it’s about reimagining spaces while respecting their existing character and intended use. Design turns constraints into opportunities, breathing new life into spaces by blending harmony, comfort, and style.

Smart Renovation

It stems from our desire to create synergies between different trades and to use this complementarity to deliver unique and innovative renovation projects. Whether small or large in scale, our priority is to provide solutions and reimagine your living spaces — without the need to demolish everything and start from scratch, or to undergo excessively long, heavy, and costly works.

We see potential in every space. These can be enhanced and optimised with ingenious, affordable, and elegant ideas.

In conclusion, the concept of “Smart Renovation” is about using space intelligently, giving it a modern image while preserving the soul of the place.

My Bio

University

At the École Polytechnique de Bruxelles, I completed a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, followed by an international master’s degree (Bruface) in Electromechanics with a specialisation in Energy.

My academic journey at ULB equipped me with a strong scientific and technical foundation, but especially also with a clear methodology for solving real-world problems.

It starts with a thorough understanding of the issue, followed by envisioning possible solutions, and finally by selecting the most pragmatic one while considering real constraints.

This training has provided me with:

  • Rigour and creativity
  • Strong communication skills
  • Leadership and organisational abilities
  • Critical thinking, resourcefulness, and a keen curiosity

Moreover, driven by curiosity and resourcefulness, I even took the initiative to design and develop my own website.

Career

Engie Fabricom (Sept. 2019)

I began my career as a Project Engineer for an EPCI contractor at Engie Fabricom (now Equans) in the Offshore Department in Hoboken (Antwerp). For over three years, I worked as an Electrical Engineer specialising in low-voltage systems, contributing to the construction of Offshore High Voltage Substations (OHVS) for offshore wind farms.

Jan de Nul (Jan. 2023)

In 2022, I joined Jan De Nul, where I currently work as an Offshore Project Engineer. In this role, I am involved in projects installing High Voltage (HV) cables on the seabed. These are critical links that connect offshore wind farms to the mainland, thus delivering the generated electricity to our homes. This exciting position not only allows me to travel the world, but also to apply my engineering expertise to solving technical challenges in complex (offshore) environments implying numerous challenges.

Voltage (Aug. 2025)

Driven by a desire to create and push my own limits, I decided to embark on an entrepreneurial journey and founded Voltage, initially as a complementary independent activity.

Evening course

(ongoing)

In 2023, I enrolled in an evening course at EFP to acquire practical skills in electricity as well as business management.

Why evening classes?
Because I was bored at home after work watching Netflix… Not really, because I love learning. Studying, developing new skills, and challenging myself is my daily source of motivation.

What’s more, this course covers all aspects of electrical installation, distribution, and connection work for electrical appliances in residential buildings, homes, and offices.

As a bonus, it also includes courses in management, accounting, law, and marketing — all in the company of highly motivated classmates eager to learn, grow, or change careers.
